Hezbollah issued the following statement:
“Hezbollah expresses its strong disapproval of the content of the briefing presented by the UN Special Coordinator in Lebanon, Janine Plasschaert, to the UN Security Council regarding the situation in Lebanon. It also condemns her positions, which align with those of the Israeli enemy, in a manner that fundamentally contradicts the role entrusted to the United Nations and its officials—a role derived from the UN’s mission, which is characterized by neutrality and objectivity. It is therefore highly surprising that Plasschaert, in her capacity as UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, would take positions biased toward the Israeli enemy, undermining Lebanon’s interests and the safety of its citizens.”
