The Media Commission of the Progressive Socialist Party categorically denied the report published in today’s issue of Al-Akhbar newspaper regarding the content of an alleged phone call between former leader Walid Jumblatt and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji.
The Commission stressed that “what has been circulated is entirely false in both substance and detail,” affirming that no such communication took place.
It also expressed its surprise at the publication of “such inaccurate accounts,” calling on all media outlets to exercise accuracy and credibility, and to refrain from spreading news that is not based on any reliable source.
