Israel’s Channel 12 reported, citing U.S. President Donald Trump, that he had asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to curb the attacks on Lebanon and act with greater caution, stressing that targeting buildings negatively affects Israel’s image.
Trump said: “We are working to prevent the collapse of the ceasefire in Lebanon over the next two weeks.”
He said that “Lebanon can return to what it once was when we finish the matter with Iran and then, consequently, Hezbollah.”
He added: “I love Lebanon and its leadership, and the problem is Hezbollah.”
