President Joseph Aoun received a phone call from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which he thanked him for the efforts Washington is making to reach a ceasefire and for its support at all levels.
For his part, Rubio affirmed that he would continue the ongoing efforts to reach a ceasefire as a prelude to establishing peace, security, and stability in Lebanon, stressing his support for and appreciation of President Aoun’s positions.
