
The Iraqi Energy Police Directorate confirmed on Sunday that all oil facilities across the country, from north to south, are fully secured amid the tense security situation and the ongoing war in the region.
Lieutenant General Dhafer Al-Husseini, Director General of the Energy Police, explained that the security measures cover oil fields, pipelines, and facilities, with the use of thermal cameras and a widespread deployment of police personnel. He emphasized the continued fight against smuggling and the strict commitment of personnel to their national duties, with no tolerance for any violations, according to the Iraqi News Agency.
