MTV learned that a journalist working with a foreign media team gave a statement to State Security, reporting that masked gunmen stopped her and her colleagues in the Al-Kafaat area while they were filming in the southern suburbs.
According to the information, the gunmen deleted the recorded material from the team’s cameras and phones and treated the team members in a humiliating manner before allowing them to leave.
The details indicate that the journalist later contacted the Minister of Justice, who followed up on the case with the relevant judicial authorities.
