The Ministry of Public Health extended its condolences to “the family of journalist Amal Khalil and the media family in Lebanon over her martyrdom in the town of Tayri, in the Bint Jbeil district, under circumstances that make the conscience of humanity weep, after the Israeli army pursued her to the house whose walls she tried to shelter within, only to turn those walls into rubble and snatch her life while she was in the prime of her giving.”
The ministry said in a statement: “We condemn in the strongest terms this heinous crime, which is added to the long record of crimes accumulated by the Israeli enemy against civilians, including journalists and health workers and paramedics, further entrenching its utter disregard for laws and humanitarian values.”
