Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reiterated on Sunday his country’s categorical rejection of any infringement on the sovereignty of Kuwait or any Arab state, affirming Cairo’s full support for the stability of sisterly nations and for measures aimed at protecting their peoples’ resources.
This came during his meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, where El-Sisi stressed that “the security of Kuwait and all Arab states is a natural extension of Egypt’s national security.”
In a related context, he pointed to the importance of advancing bilateral relations between Egypt and Kuwait toward broader horizons, particularly in the investment and trade sectors, noting the remarkable development in ties between the two countries in recent times.
He also called for continued strengthening of joint cooperation in a way that serves the interests of both peoples and keeps pace with current regional challenges.
