The Amiri Diwan of Qatar reported that His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who condemned the attacks targeting Qatar.
According to the statement, President El-Sisi affirmed to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Egypt’s support for Qatar in confronting threats to its security and sovereignty.
His Highness also received a message from the Egyptian President regarding regional developments and the heinous aggression against Qatar, which addressed efforts to reduce tensions and prioritize diplomatic solutions.
His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s supportive stance toward Qatar and its role in promoting regional stability.
