Iran threatens to raise uranium enrichment to 90% in the event of any U.S. attack

Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said that his country may consider raising uranium enrichment to 90% if it comes under a new U.S. attack.

Rezaei explained in a post on the platform X that this option is among the scenarios being considered by Tehran in the event of any renewed military targeting, noting that the matter would be subject to discussion within the Iranian parliament.
