After two weeks of attacks... Trump orders a halt to attacks on Iran

Informed sources revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump has issued directives to the U.S. military to stop carrying out any new strikes against Iran, in a move that has, for now, brought to an end a series of daily military operations that lasted for about two weeks.

According to Axios, the decision came after Trump approved continued strikes over the past 13 days, while uncertainty still surrounds whether the suspension of operations is a temporary one-day measure or the beginning of a broader de-escalation phase.

The sources explained that the step reflects a direction within the U.S. administration to make room for diplomatic efforts, in addition to an assessment that the strikes carried out had achieved the maximum that could be accomplished at the current stage, unless the region witnesses a large-scale military escalation.

At the same time, the sources confirmed that U.S. forces remain fully prepared to resume strikes on short notice if presidential orders are issued to do so, while continuing to prepare contingency plans in anticipation of any developments that may require a return to wide-ranging military operations.

The White House has not issued any official comment on this information so far.
