
Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam held a series of meetings in Luxembourg with European Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica, Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, and European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib. The talks focused on the situation in Lebanon, particularly with regard to the ceasefire, the start of a direct negotiation process, and the urgent humanitarian needs at this stage.
Prime Minister Salam stressed the importance of the European Union and its member states continuing to provide Lebanon with political and humanitarian support during this delicate phase, in a way that strengthens its resilience, supports efforts to consolidate the ceasefire, backs the launch of a serious negotiating track, and helps address the growing humanitarian needs.
