
At dawn on Saturday, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting the Crete building, which had been threatened by the Israeli army, in the city of Tyre near the Bitar station in the city center, leading to the building’s complete destruction and leveling to the ground, in addition to damage to a large number of adjacent homes and infrastructure, including water, electricity networks, and internal roads in the neighborhoods. Ambulances and Civil Defense vehicles rushed to the site of the strike to inspect it.
Israeli warplanes also launched a dawn raid targeting the threatened building near Hiram Hospital in Tyre. The strike caused severe damage to Hiram Hospital, including the operating rooms, nurses, patients, and clinics, as well as the electricity networks and the hospital building’s windows.
