Ain el-Tineh Meetings: Financial and Educational Discussions on Berri’s Table

Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri received Finance Minister Yassine Jaber at the second presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh, where their meeting addressed the latest political and field developments, in addition to the evolving financial and economic situation and the related files.

President Berri also held a meeting with a delegation from the Board of Trustees of the Amel Islamic Charitable Association, headed by Youssef Mohammad Baydoun, in the presence of Development and Liberation bloc MP Mohammad Khawaja. The talks focused on a number of educational issues and the challenges facing the education sector.

The delegation reviewed before President Berri the association’s work program, projects, and activities, while the meeting also served as an occasion to discuss the general situation in Lebanon and the latest developments the country is witnessing.

The meetings held by Berri underscored the continued follow-up on vital files, particularly financial and educational ones, amid the delicate circumstances Lebanon is going through.
