Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced that the ongoing negotiations with the United States are centered on an exchange of demands, as Tehran insists on what it describes as its legitimate rights, in the face of U.S. calls for it to abandon them.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry affirmed that its right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy is guaranteed under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, stressing that its nuclear program has remained peaceful at all stages, according to reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
In the same context, Tehran stressed that lifting what it described as the “naval blockade” imposed on it is a fundamental demand, considering these measures to be in violation of international law and calling on Washington to take steps to end them.
