
The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected Friday’s weather to be partly cloudy with high clouds, with a further rise in temperatures returning to seasonal averages, especially in the south of the country. Humidity levels will remain low, and winds will at times become active.
The bulletin stated the following:
-General situation: Stable spring weather will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean throughout the week, with lower humidity and a gradual rise in temperatures, which will exceed seasonal averages starting Saturday.
Note: Average temperatures for the month of May are between 18 and 27 degrees in Beirut, between 15 and 25 in Tripoli, and between 13 and 27 degrees in Zahle.
-Expected weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Clear to partly cloudy, with lower humidity and a noticeable rise in temperatures, especially in mountainous and inland areas, with active winds.
Friday: Partly cloudy with high clouds, with a further rise in temperatures returning to seasonal averages, especially in the south of the country. Humidity levels will remain low, and winds will at times become active.
Saturday: Clear, with temperatures continuing to rise and exceeding seasonal averages, along with active winds.
Sunday: Clear to partly cloudy, with temperatures above seasonal averages, low humidity, and active winds.
-Temperatures on the coast: 15 to 24 degrees; in the mountains: 7 to 20 degrees; inland: 7 to 27 degrees.
-Surface winds: northwesterly to northeasterly, with speeds ranging between 10 and 40 km/h.
-Visibility: good.
-Relative humidity on the coast: between 45 and 65%.
-Sea conditions: moderate waves; surface water temperature: 20 degrees.
-Atmospheric pressure: 764 mmHg.
