
The "Disaster Risk Management Unit" at the Grand Serail issued its daily report on the current situation in Lebanon, dated March 17, 2026, highlighting the latest developments regarding the humanitarian crisis and ongoing hostilities.
The report indicated that 631 shelters have been opened, accommodating a total of 133,414 displaced persons, distributed among 33,697 displaced families.
It also documented the daily hostilities, which amounted to 2,392 incidents, resulting in 26 fatalities and 80 injuries over the past 24 hours.
Regarding cumulative figures since the beginning of the crisis, the report noted 912 total fatalities and 2,221 injuries, reflecting the continued impact of hostilities on civilians.
The "Disaster Risk Management Unit" called on relevant authorities to enhance preventive and relief measures to protect civilians and alleviate their suffering under the current circumstances.
