
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia posted a notable performance in the dates sector in 2025, achieving record growth in export value of 14.3% compared with 2024, with cumulative growth of 59.5% since 2021, bringing the total value to SAR 1.938 billion.
In this context, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadli said this development reflects the results of integrated coordination between government entities and the private sector, within a strategy aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Saudi dates and expanding their global reach.
He pointed out that the Kingdom now exports dates to more than 125 countries worldwide, benefiting from high quality and great diversity in production, which has strengthened its position in international markets and cemented its presence as one of the world’s leading suppliers of this product.
