The Union of Lebanese Expatriate Depositors is calling for participation in a sit-in it is organizing in cooperation with depositors’ associations outside Banque du Liban in Beirut on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
The move comes to demand the full recovery of deposits, the unification of banking circulars, an increase in the ceiling for monthly withdrawals, and the expansion of the range of beneficiaries covered by these circulars without discrimination.
