Loyalty to the Resistance bloc: Continued aggression aims to subjugate Lebanon... and the resistance will keep responding until liberation

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc held its regular meeting on May 28, 2026, during which it discussed the latest field and political developments and issued a statement addressing the overall situation in Lebanon and the region.

The bloc said that the “Israeli aggression” is still ongoing, focused on areas in the south, the Bekaa, and the outskirts of the southern suburbs, considering that this escalation is aimed at expanding the scope of targeting and attempting to impose a new political reality on Lebanon.

In the context of upcoming occasions, the bloc extended congratulations to the Lebanese and Muslims in general, especially the families of martyrs and the displaced, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day, considering that these occasions come this year amid the continued military escalation in Lebanon and Palestine.

It also stressed what it described as the “role of the resistance” in confronting the attacks, affirming the continuation of field operations as, according to the statement, part of the “choice of defense and steadfastness” until the declared goals are achieved.

The bloc criticized the performance of the Lebanese authorities, accusing them of pursuing “regressive” policies in managing the sovereignty file, particularly with regard to indirect negotiations with the Israeli side, and called for a reconsideration of this course.

At the same time, the bloc praised the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, considering them a political opportunity that Lebanon could benefit from with regard to halting military operations, ensuring withdrawal, and restoring stability, according to the statement.
