The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants issued a statement strongly condemning the terrorist plot that targeted the United Arab Emirates, affirming its absolute rejection of any acts that threaten the security and stability of brotherly nations.
The statement pointed to the involvement of Hezbollah in the plot, recalling the Lebanese government’s decision issued on March 2, 2026, which banned the party’s military and security activities.
The ministry reiterated Lebanon’s full solidarity with the UAE, praising its supportive stance toward Lebanon in various circumstances, and commending the vigilance and efficiency of the Emirati security agencies that successfully thwarted the plot.
It also stressed the Lebanese authorities’ complete readiness to cooperate with the relevant bodies in the UAE, in order to uncover the details of the case, pursue those involved, and bring them to justice.
