
The Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Grand Serail released its daily report on the current situation on April 2, 2026, revealing the ongoing humanitarian and field challenges amid escalating hostilities.
According to the report, the number of open shelters has reached 674, currently hosting a total of 136,731 displaced individuals, distributed across 35,864 families—an indication of the worsening displacement crisis and its expanding scope.
On the ground, there has been an increase in the pace of hostilities, with 5,110 incidents recorded, reflecting continued security tensions and their direct impact on civilians.
As for human losses, the daily toll reported 27 fatalities and 105 injuries.
Meanwhile, the cumulative figures have risen to 1,345 deaths and 4,040 injured, highlighting the growing scale of humanitarian suffering.
