MP Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, affirmed that “the martyrs represent the banner of pride and dignity, and recalling their sacrifices should be a source of inspiration for patience, steadfastness, and loyalty.”
Speaking during a speech, Al-Moussawi stressed that “sacrifice in defense of Lebanon is among the noblest forms of belonging and loyalty to the الوطن,” considering that “the culture of resistance is rooted in the values of Karbala and the path of Imam Hussein, founded on sacrifice and steadfastness.”
He pointed out that “adherence to the choice of resistance and its leadership is ongoing, and the resistance’s base will remain steadfast in the face of various pressures and challenges,” noting that “the sacrifices of the martyrs have contributed to strengthening the standing of the الأمة and entrenching the concept of pride and dignity.”
On the political front, Al-Moussawi said that “Lebanon constitutes the first item in the memorandum of understanding signed in Islamabad between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America,” accusing those he described as “tools and followers of American policy” of trying to cast confusion over what he considered “an interest that serves the Lebanese.”
Al-Moussawi concluded by stressing that “sovereignty is not safeguarded by slogans, but by action, sacrifices, and the defense of Lebanon,” emphasizing that “external pressures will not alter the convictions of the resistance’s public or its choices.”
