Hezbollah’s Media Relations issued the following statement:

In recent days, a number of media outlets have circulated reports concerning positions on certain issues that were said to have been expressed by Hezbollah officials before the President of the Republic—positions that contradict the party’s principles and its clear, publicly declared stances. Yesterday, one political figure repeated these reports during a talk show on a Lebanese television channel.

Hezbollah’s Media Relations wishes to stress that what has been reported in this regard is entirely false in both form and substance. It also affirms that Hezbollah’s positions, whether stated publicly or raised in private meetings, are unified and consistent on all issues—whether regarding its participation in supporting Gaza, which is a principled, religious, moral, and humanitarian stance of which Hezbollah is proud, or regarding its absolute rejection of direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy.
