In a statement, Lebanon’s Higher Relief Commission announced that the first convoy consists of 29 trucks loaded with aid, which entered through the Masnaa border crossing, under the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al Ameri explained that the distribution of aid is being carried out in coordination with Lebanon’s Higher Relief Commission to ensure that essential needs reach beneficiaries as quickly as possible and with the highest level of organization.
For his part, Lebanon’s ambassador to the UAE, Tareq Hassan Mneimneh, expressed his country’s appreciation for the UAE’s continued support, stressing that these initiatives reflect the depth of relations between the two countries and the UAE’s standing by the Lebanese people under all circumstances.
Meanwhile, the secretary-general of the Higher Relief Commission, Brig. Gen. Bassam Al Nabulsi, thanked the Emirati leadership, saying the arrival of the relief convoys embodied brotherly solidarity and a humanitarian موقف that reflects the strength of Lebanese-Emirati ties.
Al Nabulsi noted that this aid comes as a continuation of a long track record of UAE support for Lebanon, emphasizing that the convoys represent not only material assistance, but also carry a message of solidarity affirming the continuation of cooperation between the two countries.
The UAE continues its humanitarian and development efforts toward Lebanon within the framework of previous relief initiatives, including the campaign “The UAE Is With You, Lebanon,” which aimed to support the Lebanese people in confronting challenges.
