Salam in Baghdad... Lebanese government visit opens the door to cooperation with Iraq

Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, at the head of a high-level ministerial delegation that includes Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, Energy and Water Minister Joe Saddi, and Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajj, at the start of an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and broadening prospects for cooperation between Lebanon and Iraq.

Salam was received upon his arrival at Baghdad Airport by Iraqi Finance Minister Falih Sari, where an official استقبال ceremony was held reflecting the importance of the visit, before the launch of the scheduled program of meetings and talks with Iraqi officials.
