Iran’s Energy Ministry has called on citizens to reduce electricity consumption amid mounting pressure on the power grid, after electrical facilities in the south of the country were hit by U.S. strikes, according to Agence France-Presse.
In a statement, the ministry urged residents to switch off air conditioners during peak hours to help maintain the stability of electricity supply, particularly in southern provinces experiencing a sharp rise in temperatures alongside damage to energy supply facilities.
The ministry said the requested measures are aimed at preventing further disruptions to the grid and ensuring the continued flow of الكهرباء in the areas most affected by the current circumstances.
