A chicken meal turns into a family tragedy.. Young man dies and his wife and son suffer severe poisoning

A young man from the Burj al-Barajneh area died after suffering severe food poisoning, following a chicken meal from a restaurant specializing in grilled chicken in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Information indicated that the forensic report pointed to the young man having suffered acute poisoning, while his wife and son are still receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Rafik Hariri Hospital after being struck by the same poisoning.

At a time when no final official results have been issued to determine the source of the poisoning or the responsibilities linked to the incident, the relevant authorities are continuing their investigations to uncover the circumstances of the case and take the necessary measures, as they await the results of tests and official reports.
