Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs announced that the civil air navigation systems التابعة لإدارة إقليم البحرين لمعلومات الطيران were targeted by drones, in the aftermath of what it described as "Iranian aggression" against the kingdom.
The authority confirmed that the targeting did not affect the smooth flow of air traffic or flight safety, noting that specialized teams responded immediately in line with approved operational and security plans and procedures for dealing with the incident.
It added that all necessary measures had been taken to ensure the continuity of navigation services, explaining that air traffic and overflights within the airspace of Bahrain’s Flight Information Region are proceeding normally, while coordination continues with the relevant authorities and specialized international organizations.
