Al-Hajjar from Baabda: We are moving forward behind Aoun’s efforts to pull Lebanon out of the war and extend state authority over all its territory

President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun received Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar, with the meeting addressing the security situation in various Lebanese regions. The President was briefed by the minister on the measures and procedures being carried out by the security agencies to preserve security and stability.

Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar said:

"I affirmed my support for the national efforts led by the President of the Republic to protect Lebanon, safeguard its sovereignty, and pull it out of the war imposed on it, leading to the achievement of an Israeli withdrawal and the extension of state authority over all its territory."

"We expressed our satisfaction with the positive atmosphere surrounding President Aoun’s visit to Washington and the welcome and praise he received there, as the visit reflects growing international confidence in Lebanon and its legitimate institutions."
